On/OffToolTM
Operating as a remote latching device, the On/OffToolTM is an innovative way to connect the rod string to oversize PC pump rotors that are too big to pass through the production tubing - as is the case in normal PC pump applications.
Consisting of a male and female connector, the male end is attached to the top of the pump rotor and the female end is attached to the end of the rod string. The tool is engaged/disengaged with a simple push/pull operation.
The tool features a piloted connection that eliminates any lateral motion from the tool’s drive section. This section has only torque and tension loads when the tool is operating.
Made from 17-4PH stainless steel a 1” On/OffToolTM can be run with 1,000ft/lbs of torque combined with a tension load of 25,000lbs.
