PCPStabilizer^TM

The PCPStabilizer^TM is a hydraulically energized down hole tool that attaches to the top of the Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP). Its function is to minimize tubing wear caused by the harsh eccentric motion from the pump by preventing the pump from moving. It does this in a similar fashion to the API TorqStopper^TM by forcing the pump over to one side of the casing and holding it there. The down hole tool, PCPStabilizer ^TM uses the fluid pressure from the top of the pump to actuate a sliding dog out from its resting position and push the tool and the pump to one side of the casing and holding it there.
